This is the first of our Siverina Estate wines and we are extremely happy that it won a Bronze medal at the 2024 Perth Hills wine show.
Our Chittering Chardonnay is a young and juicy, fruit forward style with flavours of peach, nectarine and tropical fruits. This is a wine meant to be enjoyed with food, think fish tacos and spicy Asian dishes.
The epic artwork on the labels was illustrated by the talented local artist James Giddy. Each of our wines showcases a Western Australian wildflower.
For our Chardonnay, the iconic Yellow Kangaroo Paw, a simple elegant flower perfectly reflects this style of wine.
Harvest Notes
The fruit was harvested in the cool of the evening at our Chittering Valley farm before being destemmed, crushed and pressed. The juice was chilled and settled, then racked clean to a stainless steel tank for fermentation. Fermentation was cool, ranging 17 - 19 degrees Celsius, and took 10 days to reach dryness. This wine was racked clean from lees to a stainless steel tank and received minimal finings before being filtered in preparation for bottling.
