Wine
Fine wines produced by grapes grown in the warm Mediterranean climate of the Chittering Valley. Each label showcases artwork by local Perth artist (James Giddy) of amazing Western Australian (WA) flora that we also grow on our farm for the floriculture industry.
We are one of the largest vineyards in the Perth Hills wine region and one of the most northerly in WA. Our climate is similar to the famous Barossa Valley of South Australia and parts of Portugal, Spain and southern Italy.
In 2024, we started revitalizing a neglected cellar door and vineyard in Gingin, conveniently located near our farm in Mooliabeenee.
Our vineyard at the farm comprises 17.5ha of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and Verdelho, whilst the Gingin cellar door location has a further 3 varieties being Grenache, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. With an eye towards to the future of the winery and an understanding of our changing climate, we have planted out a further 3000 cuttings of 11 different Italian, Portuguese and Spanish grapes (Arinto, Barbera, Fiano, Mencia, Montepulciano, Nebbiolo, Nero d'Avola, Sangiovese, Tempranillo, Tinto Cao, Touriga Nacional), which should start producing their first crops in 4-5 years!
